This competition, hosted by Yanko Design in collaboration with KeyShot and Pantone, challenged designers to colour a product using at least three shades from Pantone’s Dualities material pack.

By chance, I was sketching this chair concept, three poles that begin as one and then 'fray' into legs and seat support, and it felt like the perfect canvas for exploring complementary and contrasting colourways. The structure naturally invites rhythm and variation, making it an ideal piece to experiment with bold colour interactions.
